My Interview : Trevor Blackman Now Show
Sunday 23rd was a very special day for me and my team. 1st it was my first Sunday that I didn’t have to go into work as Sundays are now scratched out & cancelled, full time. Whoop Whoop !! Amen.
2nd. I had to attend South East London for a chat on Maritime radio 96.5FM. I had been requested to be a guest on the Trevor Blackman Now Show to talk about my journey in music and my role as a Judge @ the forthcoming BLAC AWARDS in April 2020. A friend of mines had already been a guest on his show and arranged for me to come up and sit in the hot chair, to which I was more than happy.
After the initial invite was sent out to me I corresponded back thanking Trevor and accepting his invite and making sure to use the opportunity to showcase my artist Grantie Asher I swiftly had Grantie added to the shows guest list. this was a good move as later on in the day Grantie will be performing at the Brixton 02 Academy as a opening act for Sanchez & Barrington Levy, so doing the radio show just before was a nice touch and a great warm up for the main event later.
Upon arriving at the the radio station we wasted no time in getting this interview on the way and straight away we was in deep conversation live on air. Trevor’s professional approach but laid back manner made us all more than comfortable and before you knew it the time had flown by. We spoke about a variety of subjects, my vision for Starrvybz Entertainment, some of the more famous artist I’ve recorded and the show Grantie will be on later.
We covered bases about my role on the judging panel at the BLAC AWARDS 2020 which will take place on the 30th April 2020 (visit www.blac.org.uk for more info on tickets) and what was the aim of such an event. We was enjoying ourselves so mush that the time had just flown by and we was totally pumped up for our next task ahead that day.
I like to use this opportunity to thank Trevor & Alex for making us feel so comfortable & welcome, respect.
