UK Reggae artist Solo Banton is back with a bang. Once again joining forces with Reality Shock producer Kris Kemist to bring you their 3rd studio album ‘Old Raggamuffin’ following on from “Walk Like Rasta” 2010 and “Higher Levels” 2012.
Over the last 7 years Solo has continued to establish himself as one of the UK’s favourite reggae artist, performing all over the globe & hosting the biggest reggae stage in the UK, Lions Den at Boomtown Fair.
The new LP features combinations with artist like Macka B, Mikey General, Earl 16 and Sabrina Bell. Expect heavyweight authentic Roots Reggae music blessed with melody, heavy basslines, beautiful horn sections and Amelia Harmony’s angelic background vocals complimenting Solo’s hard hitting deejay style,filled with intelligent, thought provoking lyrics.

His own sound in his own style – breakbeat music liberated through Reggae & Dub. Influences span 80s Dub through One Drop Reggae, Steppas, 90s Breakbeat and Jungle Drum & Bass. He has been storming the global scene with recent releases on his own Butter Pie Dubs label. You Got The Dub, Reality and Left/Right are being played by respected DJs all over the world.
